What happens during the first therapy session?

How long is a typical therapy session?
Sessions typically last 45 minutes for individual therapy, 60 minutes for the first session (intake) and 60-90 minutes for couples or group sessions.
Can I bring someone with me to the session?

What if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?
We recognize that life can be unpredictable. If you need to reschedule or cancel appointments, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. Please be aware that a late cancellation fee might apply to cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice. In the case of reoccurrence of no-show or late cancellation within 24 hours, advance payment might be required before scheduling additional sessions. Further occurrences of no-show or late cancellation may lead to treatment discontinuation, as consistent attendance is crucial for maintaining treatment quality and effectiveness.

Yes, we offer virtual sessions for those who prefer or require remote counseling. For a smooth operation, please ensure you have a private space, stable internet connection, and headphones ready.
