Our Mission

​​At Psyched Academy, our primary goal is to cultivate strong psychologists and therapists who have a deep affinity with the Arubian culture. We aim to do this by offering a unique apprenticeship program where students enrolled at the Open Universiteit can simultaneously learn and work under expert guidance and supervision. By doing so, we strive to bridge the shortage of psychologists in our community.

Who Should Apply?

​Psyched Academy is looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who have completed the following studies;
Hbo-opleidingen:
Psychologie, Communicatie, Creatieve therapie (drama, muziek, beeldend, dans, psychomotorische therapie/bewegingsagogie), Culturele en maatschappelijke vorming, Ergotherapie, Fysiotherapie, Godsdienst/pastoraal werk, Logopedie, Maatschappelijk werk en dienstverlening, Medische hulpverlening, Oefentherapie Cesar, Oefentherapie Mensendieck, Pedagogiek, Personeel en arbeid/Personeel en organisatie, Sociaalpedagogische hulpverlening, Social Work, Toegepaste gerontologie, Verloskunde, Verpleegkunde, Voeding en diëtetiek.

Wo-bachelor:
Algemene gezondheidswetenschappen, Communicatiewetenschappen, Pedagogische wetenschappen, Sociologie, Algemene sociale wetenschappen, Geneeskunde. 

You might be eligible for exemption if you've completed a similar course at another university, covering the same content, level, and scope, and you can support it with the necessary documentation.
